Pakistan Steel invites sealed tender on prescribed proforma from reputed Mines Owners/Lease Holders / Suppliers / Traders having GST registration, for supply of under mentioned mineral with specified quality against the item to be delivered on FOR basis to Pakistan Steel, Bin Qasim, Karachi as per specification and delivery schedule given here under: -
The desired specifications of Local Manganese Ore (Lump) as per Pakistan Steel Standard (PSS-0081-2003) are as under: -
Delivery Schedule: The material as per technical requirement will be supplied with 250 MT per month (effective from the date of issuance of Purchase Order), which is to be stacked separately in Primary Stock Yard at RMHD or any location specified by Pakistan Steel.
Firm rate on the prescribed format should be quoted on per M. Ton F.O.R basis, including all charges for transportation and taxes etc.
Requirement for Prospective Bidders: Provision of Original lease documents or copies duly attested by Notary Public is mandatory with the firm price / rate per MT on the prescribed format should be quoted on F.O.R basis including all charges for transportation and taxes etc.
Those suppliers / traders who are not the mine owners will be required to provide the copy of lease documents of the mine duly counter signed by the mine owners and attested by Notary Public as well as to provide original authority letter issued by the mine owners on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper, duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate.

Sealed bids along with submission of earnest money / bid bond in shape of Pay Order for Rs.25000/- (refundable) in favour of Pakistan Steel, copy of GST registration certificate duly attested by Notary Public and also pertaining to the required information, addressed to General Manager (BMD), Admn Block-III, Pakistan Steel, Bin Qasim, Karachi, along with a sample of 15 KG of the offered item / material properly packed / sealed and marked, should be submitted before or on 08.07.2008 by 14.00 hours. The bids will be opened publicly in the Technical Library Operation building Pakistan Steel Bin Qasim Karachi, at 15.00 hours on the same date.
Pakistan Steel reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal, and also to bifurcate the work amongst two or more suppliers without assigning any reason.
