National Highway Authority invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested companies/joint ventures/firms for provision of 1 x Light Recovery Vehicle with adequate Workshop facility and V x Toyota Hiace A/C Ambulance at Islamabad-Muzaffarabad Dual Carriageway (IMDCW) with provision of public facilities for a period of two (02) years.
Salient features of the said services shall be as under: Keep the complete facilities operational and maintenance of Toyota Hiace A/C Ambulance equipped with medical facility round the clock as per international standards.
Keep the complete facilities operational and maintenance of Light Recovery Vehicle with adequate Workshop facility with all necessary spare parts, tolls etc.
Provision of trained personnel for operation of Toyota Hiace A/C Ambulance & Light Recovery Vehicle with adequate Workshop facility is mandatory.
The companies/joint ventures/firms are required to submit the following documents to enable NHA to assess and evaluate the qualification of the companies/joint ventures/firms: Valid Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (Marks 10).
Companies/Joint Ventures/Firms profile (Name, Address, Telephone, Fax, E-mail, National Tax Number, Registered Offices in Pakistan etc.) and experience (Marks 10).
Financial capabilities of the last three years duly authenticated/verified by senior management of issuing bank/chartered accountant. (Marks 30)
Experience of Operations and Management services of Ambulances and Mobile Workshops. (Marks 20)
Proposed team and methodology for Operations and Management of Ambulances & Mobile Workshops. (Marks 10)
Litigation History of the firm. (Marks 10)
Certificate that the firm has never been blacklisted or debarred. (Marks 10)
Note: If any Information given in the application is found incorrect, then pre-qualification will be cancelled without notice.
The contract between the two parties shall be services based and performance indicators shall be mentioned In the RFP along with penalties.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) shall be received in sealed envelopes clearly marked and signed by applicants in the office of General Manager (Operations) NHA, Islamabad upto 1400 hours on 05-07-2008.
Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued to pre-qualified companies/joint ventures/firms only, which will contain the date of submission and opening of financial bids, which will be opened in the presence of the representatives of the companies, who may choose to attend on the date, time and venue as prescribed in the RFP.
Further details (if any) can be obtained from the office of General Manager (Operations) on any working day.
National Highway Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the proposals without assigning any reason(s) thereof.
