Applications for pre-qualification are invited from well reputed films / contactors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council to undertake construction of various buildings and related civil works at Main and City Campus of NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. Interested firms who have completed high qualify Building Projects of value not less than Rupees (fifty million and above of similar nature, are invited to submit the t following information along with supporting documents:
(1) Name and Address with Telephone / Fax Number of Principal office of company / firm with organizational structure and memorandum of Association / Partnership Deed.
(2) Number of Directors / Partners / Proprietors giving their names, qualifications and experience etc.
(3) Names of Subcontractors, and their organization setup, if any, for electrification, plumbing and sewerage works.
(4) List of similar works executed by the firm in the last five years indicating location, scope of work, approximate cost, schedule and actual time of completion with satisfactory completion certificate by the Consultant / Owner.
(5) List of works in hand.
(6) Attested photocopy of registration of company showing year of establishment.
(7) Attested photocopy of registration of company with Pakistan Engineering Council.
(8) Details of Tools, Plants and Machinery in working condition available for the Project.
(9) Delete of present enlistment with Government / Semi Government including categories with copies of valid Registration.
(10) Bio-data of Technical Staff permanently employed and actually available with the Firm / Contractor.
(11) Photocopy of Income Tax registration certificate and NTN.
(12) Detail of Arbitration / Litigation cases, if any.
(13) Financial Stability Certificate issued by the Scheduled Bank of repute not more than 03 months old.
(14) Affidavit that they have never boon blacklisted by any Government Department / Corporation / Private agencies.
(15) Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper staling that the above information is correct.
The application with the required information should reach the Office of the Director Planning and Projects, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi-75270 latest by 21-07-2008. Delayed receipts shall not be accepted.
Note: If at any stage any willful omission / suppression of facts is detected it would be sufficient to withdraw the Pre-qualification / cancel the contract, if already awarded.
